Remember, you always want to keep your credit utilization as low as possible but no higher than 30%.
Paying your credit card balance before it's reported to the bureaus means that a lower balance will be reported & that means your credit utilization will appear to be lower.
If you don't know when your balance is reported, you can call the lender/credit card company and ask.
⭐️Ask For A Raise On Your Credit Limit:
Increasing your credit limit helps to increase your overall credit utilization. Having a higher credit utilization means that your previous balances on your credit cards won't negatively affect you in the same way.
⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ Only try this trick if you have a good payment history. No lender is going to increase your limit if you aren't paying your bills. You don’t want them to review your account and see that you aren’t making payments and decide to decrease your limit.
⭐️Remove Negative Remarks & Dispute Errors:
Get your credit report and look for negative remarks or inaccurate items. Then contact the bureaus through dispute letters to see if you can get them removed.
